TAG is looking for a part-time or possibly full time licensed speech/language pathologist assistant to join our dynamic team of professionals and work with children and adults of all ages. Caseload will include individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities as well as adults with traumatic brain injuries. Having experience with brain injury is helpful but not a requirement. Interest and experience working with nonverbal clients would be highly desirable. Responsibilities will include: client assessments, planning and providing appropriate treatment, offering recommendations to parents of clients, teachers, and/or other team members, writing reports, maintaining case notes, and collaborating with staff. All programs at TAG are influenced by a developmental model called Relationship Development Intervention (RDI®), which fosters competency, trust, social, emotional, cognitive, and academic growth. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to learn from the rest of the TAG staff which includes a veteran speech therapist with 33 years of experience, an expert OT and seven certified RDI® consultants.
