Come join an amazing and collaborative team at Therapeutic Approach to Growth (TAG), Inc. where you will learn and grow professionally while supporting the ongoing growth and development of our amazing kids affected by autism.

We currently have a need in the Orange County area (specifically Garden Grove) for a part-time (15 – 30 hours) therapist. This time also includes some data collection and ongoing supervision with supportive staff. The ideal candidate would be available weekends and afternoons during the week.

Our ideal candidate(s) would be someone that is:

Fluent in English

Able to work (at least) one day during the weekend

Open and willing to learn about RDI and autism

Interested in and working towards a career in child development, special education, psychology, etc.

Currently enrolled in college or has some college courses completed

Experienced with working with those with special needs or in the education field

Internally motivated to overcome challenge

Interested in a process of continued learning

Flexible with their work schedule and can work weekend

Excited to work with children

Our therapists undergo an extensive training on development-based models of care, and specifically the Relationship Development Intervention (RDI) philosophy. Additionally, therapists have approachable, helpful supervisors who work with them continuously, creating a truly collaborative atmosphere. More importantly, TAG, Inc. is dedicated to continual professional development and growth of our therapists. Are you a passionate, friendly, and happy licensed speech and language assistant (SLPA) looking to join an established practice full of like-minded professionals? Are you wanting to join a fantastic and passionate work family?

If so, we can’t wait to meet you! TAG is looking for a part-time or possibly full time licensed speech/language pathologist assistant to join our dynamic team of professionals and work with children and adults of all ages. Caseload will include individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities as well as adults with traumatic brain injuries. Having experience with brain injury is helpful but not a requirement. Interest and experience working with nonverbal clients would be highly desirable. Responsibilities will include: client assessments, planning and providing appropriate treatment, offering recommendations to parents of clients, teachers, and/or other team members, writing reports, maintaining case notes, and collaborating with staff. All programs at TAG are influenced by a developmental model called Relationship Development Intervention (RDI®), which fosters competency, trust, social, emotional, cognitive, and academic growth. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to learn from the rest of the TAG staff which includes a veteran speech therapist with 33 years of experience, an expert OT and seven certified RDI® consultants.
