 Speech Language Pathologist (Part-Time)

Location: San Diego
Job Description:

TAG is in need of a lead Speech Language Pathologist to supervise two SLPA’s, complete evaluations and re-evaluations and assist in writing progress reports. This will consist of an average of 10 hours per week. Hours are very flexible and some work can be done from home. There would also be opportunity to have your own caseload but it is not essential to the position.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Valid/Active California Speech Language Pathologist License
  • Highly independent, energetic, organized with a “patient-first” approach
  • At least two years experience working with clients with autism

 1:1 Aide for Children/Teens with Autism

Therapeutic Approach to Growth (TAG) is looking for a part time 1:1 tutor or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)! If you are not currently an RBT, we have great news…TAG WILL COVER THE COST OF THE RBT CERTIFICATION PROGRAM AND PROCESS!

Job Duties :

  • Work 1:1 with one child/teen on specific goal areas (e.g., behavior, communication, social-skills, daily living skills, organization and planning, etc.) Share creative ideas for activities in which to target goals
  • Collect data on goal progress
  • Implement treatment plan developed by supervisor with their guidance
  • Implement a developmental relationship driven program that uses a mentorship approach

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Be willing to complete RBT training in a one month period
  • Fluent in English
  • At least one year experience working with clients with autism
  • Available during highly desirable after school hours (e.g., 3-6pm)
  • Able to work one day during the weekend (Typically 2-3 hours)
  • No long vacations planned within the next 6 months (as our clients need some continuity of care when starting programs)

 Occupational Therapist

  • Implement strategies from the Relationship Development Intervention (RDI ®), which emphasizes the importance of emotional engagement, trust, competency, authentic activities, and mentor-student relationship

  • Valid/Active California Occupational Therapist Assistant Certification
  • Highly independent, energetic, organized with a “patient-first” approach
  • At least two years experience working with clients with autism

  • Reliable transportation
  • Able to work from 3-6 pm
  • Willing to make a 1 year commitment

Autism Program Supervisor – BCBA, LMFT, or LCSW

Location: San Diego
Job Type: Part Time
Job Description:

Therapeutic Approach to Growth (TAG) is looking for a part time licensed BCBA, LCSW, or LMFT with the potential to work up to a full-time schedule within 3 months. Caseload will include primary children with autism (ages 3 to 12) with an occasional older teen or young adult.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • California license as a BCBA, LCSW, or LMFT
  • Master’s Degree in education, psychology, counseling, applied behavior analysis, human development, social work, child development or special education
  • At least 3 years experience working with clients with autism
  • At least 2 years experience working in a supervisory role
  • Experience conducting assignments: Vineland, FBA
  • Must be available to work during our client’s most desirable hours (Ex. 3pm – 6pm)
